How we work

Most agencies start at stage five. We start at stage one.

Six stages, in this order, for a reason. Stage five is the one everybody sells, and it is the one that fails when the four before it have been skipped. If you are already past some of these, we start where you actually are.

01

Find out where you are

A free audit of your website, your ads, your tracking and your accounts, written down. Not a call, not a presentation, a document. It tells you what is working, what is not, and what is worth fixing first.

You get: a written audit. Three working days. Yours to keep whether you go further or not.

02

Put the foundations in your name

Domain, hosting, ad accounts, analytics and business profiles, all owned by you rather than by your agency. It is the least glamorous stage and the one that causes the most damage when it has been done wrong.

You get: every account in your own name, with you as the owner and us as a user.

03

Make it measurable

Tracking that counts calls and enquiries, not just clicks. Until this is right, every later decision is a guess, and every report is an argument about whose numbers are correct.

You get: one set of numbers both sides agree on, and a dashboard you can open yourself.

04

Build what people land on

Pages and forms that turn a visit into an enquiry. Fixing this is almost always cheaper than buying more visitors, and it improves every channel at once rather than one.

You get: an enquiry path that works, and the figures from before and after.

05

This is where most agencies start

Bring people to it

Ads, search and social. The part that looks like marketing. It works, and it works far better when stages one to four are already in place, which is the whole argument for the order.

You get: traffic from the channels that suit your business, judged on enquiries rather than impressions.

06

Report in writing, monthly

What worked, what did not, and what changes next month. One page, in writing, including the parts that did not go well. If a channel is not returning anything we will tell you to stop it.

You get: a monthly written report, and a standing invitation to challenge it.

The honest version

Why the order matters

Buying traffic to a site that cannot take an enquiry is the most expensive mistake in marketing, and it is the easiest one to sell, because it produces activity immediately and the problem only shows up in the invoice.

Doing it in this order means the first month is slower and the sixth month is better. If you need enquiries this week, say so and we will tell you honestly whether there is a shortcut worth taking in your case.

Which stage is your business at?

Stage one is free and takes three working days. At the end of it you will know which of the six you actually need, and in what order.
